My Favorite Melting Pot Moment at Costco

There was the time a hispanic dad and I were reaching into adjacent freezers at Costco.

He got a bag of potstickers.

I got a box of taquitos.

I love taquitos. My MIL, of all people, makes some damn good ones. That's our request of her every time we visit.

There's something about food that can bring us all together. One of the best burritos in Oakland can be had from Taco (truck) Sinaloa which is permanently parked at E 14th and 23rd, on any given day you can see a line of Asians, blacks, and hispanics freezing their asses off waiting to order. Other centers of brotherly love include the dim sum restaurants in Chinatown.
