Well, for reasons peripherally related to my day job, I had a chance to imagine a magazine which didn't exist. I came up with a riff on Rice Daddies, and how it might have existed circa 1982 as a xeroxed zine.
Happy -24th, Ricedaddies!

Cool 'zine cover, very 80s mixtape...I want to go listen to my old Cure albums now. Happy 24th Blogaversary!
Awesome, Larry. Now you've got me wondering what project you could be working on that sent you back to '80s zine design for research. :)
BTW, for a real, modern-day dad zine (but with all of that old, indie, left-of-center spirit), check out Tomas Moniz' Rad Dad zine, at http://raddadzine.blogspot.com.

Thanks for the link, DISL!
As for what could bring me back to the 80s? Isnt it obvious, the 80's were the most totally awesome decade, ever!
So you're designing the team t-shirts and posters, then, right? :)
Ooh, and diaper bags/messenger bags too? Heh.
